The most common question I get from friends & family that visit is “Where should we eat?” You’ve been asking & I’m finally answering, properly!
I put together a list of our favorite restaurants in Dillon. Dillon is going through a growing period and added some new restaurants in the last year. Cultivate Kitchen and Timberline Craft Kitchen to name a few. I will continue to update this list as we try new places!
To check out the menu, click the name of the restaurant. I recommend making reservations whenever possible.
Breakfast & Brunch
Blue Moon Bakery - great for a grab and go breakfast. They have a big selection of delicious baked goods, too!
Mountain Lyon Cafe - affordable & large plate breakfast
Lunches & Dinner
Sauce on the Blue - our favorite Italian restaurant in Summit County. It’s the fanciest restaurant we take our kids to, but always worth it. Family style Italian with a large drink menu. We usually order the arugula &strawberry salad, rainbow trout, and tiramisu!
Eclectic Bar & Grill - the avocado egg rolls and burgers were superb. My husbands meal looked like it came out of a food magazine, absolutely picture perfect. We struggled to decide what to eat because it all looked so good. The inside was more upscale, but they have a very large outdoor eating space great for kids.
Bluebird Market - this market style eatery is becoming very popular around Colorado. It is essentially an upscale food court lol. They have all the cuisines covered, including a bar and ice cream! We love bringing visitors here because everyone can find something they want. They also host events and have a large party space to rent.
Mercado La Perla - When we are craving authentic Mexican food this is where we go. Before Colorado, Will & I lived in Houston. There was a food truck we visited weekly for their tortas. La Perla is the closest to that food truck I’ve found in Summit County so far. Not “pretty” Tex mex, but traditional Mexican food!!
Drinks & Sweets
Red Buffalo Coffee & Tea - my favorite coffee place in the town! It backs up to the river, the kids love to throw rocks while I enjoy my latte.
