Lower McCullough Gulch Trail
This was our first girls only adventure! It was also my first solo hike after having Mila. It felt good to hike at my pace & stop frequently to take pictures/video.
๐๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฅ๐: Out & Backโฃ
Wide, steep & very rocky trail. Great tree coverage with a lot of shade until the last stretch
Beautiful mountain views, a few leaf peeping opportunities, calming sound of a running river & small log cabin
The parking lot is not next to the trailhead and the lot fills up quickly. There is a large map next to the parking lot with directions to the trailhead. You will most likely will lose cell signal on the trail and itโs spotty in the parking lot. I recommend taking a screenshot of the trail map and where to park beforehand. Itโs uphill out & downhill back. The trail was moderately busy for a weekday morning.
