Minnie Mine Loop
This short and easy trail is perfect for families! We love going all year but fall is particularly beautiful.
Minnie Mine Loop
Location: Breckenridge, CO
Distance: 1.5 miles
Style: Loop
Level of Difficulty: Easy Peasy
Elevation Change: 209 ft
Terrain: The trail is flat and wide enough for two with a gradual incline. It gets rocky in some parts but nothing extreme - my toddlers can hike it solo. It’s mostly covered with some unshaded areas, making it great for warmer days.
What to See: This is a great trail for autumn leaf peeping! There are beautiful views of Breckenridge Resort. Squirrels, birds & chipmunks galore. Multiple opportunities to see historic mine and dredge ruins.
Tips:
There is a small parking lot at the trailhead but no bathroom.
Popular for mountain bikers so be aware of your surroundings.
Cell signal is available
This loop deviates from the marked Minnie Mine Trail, it merges with the X10U8 trail at the end. I have attached a picture showing where it diverts. I used my all trails app to stay on course!
Please remember to Leave No Trace, this includes picking up & removing dog poop 💩
